Brabus Tuning - GLK 250
I know I know, modifying the ECU or anything else related to the engine can/will affect warranty. Use at your own risk. YMMV.
Has anyone tried the Brabus tuning kits for the GLK 250? If I were to ever consider modifying the performance, it would be via company and product(s) who are known to be legit. They offer a number of solutions for different diesel vehicles from Mercedes and the pricing isn't completely offensive. I'd go this route over anything from eBay, if at all.
Anyone?

Seems like it's around 1500 euros to go from 204 to 235 hp (Europe ratings), and from 369 to 413 lb-ft of torque.
That's $1625 USD or so for 31 horses, or 52$/hp. Not a ripoff but not cheap either.
Now, while I'd love to have more power (I certainly don't feel all that power and torque in stock form), something tells me that stressing what is a very small engine making impressive numbers even more is just asking for trouble.
Given that this engine is also in the E class and in other vehicles in Europe, and that there is very little aftermarket support is either because these vehicles are not seen as enthusiasts vehicles, or that tuning them safely is just impossible as they are maxed out from the factory, or a bit of both.

If you are actually serious about it, I would check into eurocharged performance as well.
Do everything remote and can can easily switch back and forth between stock and tuned profiles from your laptop. Plus there are usually sales for 400 or less
