Gurgling Noise Behind Dash

Gurgling Noise Behind Dash
Aloha...one last really odd sound. When running my GLK 250 in 80 degree sunny weather in stop and go conditions there is a noticeable gurgling noise behind the dash. It's been hard to pinpoint the sound but you hear it more in your seats then when the hood is popped. The word to describe is Gurgling or burbling...lol
Ok...I'm up on my allotment for posts....thanks all for responses....

I'm just guessing, the AC has been on? It could be water building up in the ac unit. There is a drain hose for condensate , condensation that occurs on the ac coil and drains out through a small hose near the dash area to under the car . A clog could be letting water build inside the ac unit, then mold and musty smell happens. Look to see if water is dripping under the dash area while ac runs, if no water it's really clogged. Get it looked at, mold is really hard to get rid of once it starts.

Read your Maintenance schedule, checking this tube is under normal included maintenance, if you smell any musty smell, it's mold and they owe you a dissenfect. And a new interior charcoal embedded filter, I wouldn't wait, mold grows

I'm only guessing, water should be dripping from the firewall area, from a plastic hose, it cleaned by running a wire up it or compressed air. If you have some dip , water on the ground when the ac runs, that will help you locate it. I think it's a common issue. Can you post back the procedure to fix it? It is supposed to be checked under Maintenance regularly. But compressed air could be the wrong way to clear it.
