'13 GLK250 BT, a slew of engine codes starting with P0101

Folks, I noticed the engine light on as I was leaving this morning (my wife said she hadn't noticed if it was on the day before). I ended up with what appeared to be the turbo's not kicking in, the tranny not shifting per the paddle wheels, and a huge loss in power (which I assume was the lack of turbos).

Did a code check and got the following which seems to possibly be related to the Mass Air Flow:

Current Fault Log
------------------
P0101: Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Range/Performance Problem
P0299: Unknown code - More information may be available on the web

Pending Fault Log
------------------
B2AAA: Unknown code - More information may be available on the web
P0171: System too Lean (Bank 1)

Historic Fault Log
------------------
B2AAA: Unknown code - More information may be available on the web
P0171: System too Lean (Bank 1)
Other discovered fault codes
(possibly pending, current or manufacturer specific)
----------------------------------------------------
ECU reports no other fault codes logged

Any suggestions on what this might be? Do I try resetting the codes to see if they come right back? Anyone have a detailed description of what these codes are?

Thanks in advance.

Gordon

Dude...

If you're not a diesel DIY mechanic - I would suggest you need to have your 250BT serviced - I "assume" you are out-of-warranty ?

Fair point. This is my first diesel although I've done my fair share of head, clutch, and tranny replacements.

The main code is a MAF/MAP code, and I'm suspecting that it is in turn causing some of the others.

So my first step will be to clean the MAF sensor and I'll go from there. but if anyone has further info on these codes etc., that would be great.

Thanks.

Did you ever/fix the issue? I had the same issue and the mechanic is saying turbo failure.
