Front wiper blade recommendations

I have a 2014 GLK350 4Matic. I bought a set of Michelin Stealth Ultra blades for the front in April 2018 and they are stuttering across the windshield horribly. This makes me think they are already bad as they did not do that initially. Any recommendations? Obviously I will never buy these Michelin blades again.

I am happy with the mercedes replacements. They cost more but work like the originals.

8 month is not bad for wipers, especially after summer. Many factors at play.
I have OEM valeo wipers and when there is not enough water they will do the same as you describe.
I think MB wipers were the best when the car was new. I tried aftermarket, Bosch OEM, Valeo OEM and all not quite as good. But MB wiper may have been good due to new windshield.

What fixed my wiper chatter was a real cleaning , denatured alcohol on the wiper and glass, then using Zud or Barkeepers friend on the glass , it’s like Comet but has Oxalic acid in it to remove pollutants embedded in your windshield. I did that with a buffer.

Old thread, but...

I just found out that on 2/1/14 (1/2/14 if you're in Europe) Mercedes changed the wiper blade specs. My car was built in late February. The only blades I can find are OEM Mercedes. It looks like there are others available in Europe, but here in the US I think the only source besides dealer is the cheaper "fits all" blades, and even that appears to be a crap shoot.

I'm considering swapping my wiper arms for the earlier style. One notable difference is the passenger's blade is 1" shorter on the early setup. Do you think that matters? Any other reason not to do that? Any US sources for aftermarket blades? (Please provide part numbers! It appears the internet is fraught with errors.) What are you all with the 2015 models doing?

TIA

If you're interested I have a set of MB brand wipers for the 2014+ model GLKs. I mistakenly bought the wrong ones for mine and never bothered to return them. Still in the box.
I'll knock $5 off whatever the online price is these days, if you pay for the shipping. Just let me know...

I just purchased this set of wiper blades for my 2015 GLK 250, and they seem as good as the OEMs for $19.95 - very easy snap fit attachement, took 2 minutes to replace, didn't even need to set the wipers to higher position to remove.

Interesting. Did they come with some sort of adapters? They're listed as fitting 2013-2015 and I know from experience that there are two different mounting systems involved. Maybe it fits one with the adapter and the other (early) without? Early style is a pin mount.

Yes they had a small adapter piece that just snapped over so it could slide in. Without the adapter, you would probably need the peg & hole type connection. They seemed set up for that out of the package.

Brilliant!
Great price, too!
Of course, they're temporarily out of stock...

OK, so, Valeo 22OE and 19OE ("Oh", not zero) fit the late style wiper arms.

If I interpret the info correctly, the late style fits from chassis 301229, excluding chassis numbers 301334, 301498, 301851 and 333528 and including chassis 301096

I have used both the Bosch AeroTwin and Icons on my '15 as OEM type replacements. Both have performed well. I think the Icons are slightly more durable for a few more $.

OBTW, the blades I took off had the MB logo on them, but, the part that is hidden by the end of the arm had the Bosch trademark magneto logo on it.
