Hi

I live in Toronto where we have lots of city installed automatic speed sensor signs. They use some kind of radar signal to gauge your speed and broadcast it on a sign for you to see as you approach. Many of them are near schools. Anyway, I have noticed that EVERY sign displays the speed 4 kph above what my GLK speed is. eg the sign will say 60kph but my readout will say 56. Has every sign been calibrated wrong ,,,or is every GLK speedo wrong? Anyone else seen this?

I've checked my speedo against my Magellan GPS up to 130 kph and the speedo is within 1 kph under speed displayed by the GPS.

I used to wear a speedo in my younger days. Last time I tried one the wife told me that "no-one wants to see that".

I'll see if I can replicate that test. I suppose the city could have programmed them 4kph too high to make you think you're speeding and slow you down?
