Cold start rpms bouncing

When I start my car, occasionally the rpm needle will bounce around maybe a few hundred rpm. It is fairly rough that you can feel the car rock when this happens. It doesn't always happen but whenwit does, it happens in the cold at first start. Any thoughts?

Usually it’s the throttle body and mass air flow sensor that is dirty. You can try cleaning out the throttle body and the MAF sensor with a MAF cleaner.

It almost sounds like some sort of idle control issue. Does CEL come on?
I've had misfires on very cold days last week (with CEL on), which would go away on restart. CEL is gone, too. Hasn't come back yet and no codes were stored.
