Grille Emblem Replacement

I have a thread on here for my new build but...
I recently got into a minor car wreck and decided not to go through insurance and I’m left with a scratched rear bumper and a broken grille emblem.

i don’t think the grille itself is broken however, I bought a new emblem to put in place of the broken one and it doesn’t seem to stay put, if you touch it, it moves and if I drive too “harshly”, it falls out. I’ve tried to glue it in place but it didn’t work.

Im thinking next, I try drilling holes and zip ties...

what do you guys guys think I should do?

I got it off of amazon. I’ll try forcing the twist. It for sure is right side up

Of the 3 points on the start only one point is for vertical - up, once you find that point you insert it with the top point about an inch to the left and force it to the right.

You need to remove the grill to be sure to find the issue, I got a new grill where I couldn’t get the star to fit until I filed a tab,

Looks great, I'm looking at swapping out my grille to a GTR style from eBay/Amazon. I'm assuming the front bumper cover has to be removed to install the new grille?
