To buy or not to buy [2010 GLK350w4 80k miles]
Going to look at a 2010 GLK350 4Matic with 80,000 miles, I read over the thread here; https://mbworld.org/forums/glk-class...ng-thread.html and came away felling GLKs are pretty rock solid with a few little issues (leaking wiper fluid reservoir, taillight bulbs) or it going to have a BIG issue like the transmission/transfer case needing to be replaced for like $10 grand. I wonder now, at 80K miles has this car shaken out all it's gremlins?
Also wonder when it will need motor mounts (my W203 need them about 120k), I know it's not as easy as the mounts on the W203. Anything to look or feel for during a test drive. - NP

motor mounts you will feel in the seat / gas pedal when idling at traffic lights. Not a fun job to DIY even on a lift, unless you have 2wd.
i would not call GLK driveline "rock solid" under any stretch.
shaken out at 80k? prob more like just beginning of the issues. buy the lowest miles, best condition example you can afford.

I have an extended warranty, I wouldn’t buy a glk without it, most any repair can be 1000$ +. 80000, is when it starts to break , a mb dealer will kill you on repair costs , you need a good independent shop.
