2015 GLK350 Brakes & Rotors Yearly Replacement
This rotor issue is known issue across many GLKs including pretty new ones. I think it's MB pads or caliper design, but this is just a guess.
Btw...MB doesn't bother with L/R rotor up front (or rear), L/R are the same rotor even tho inside vanes are angled...But then again, both rotors get warped not just one...
My 2015 factory brake pads and rotors at 35,000 miles (56,000 km) were in superb shape. The surface was very smooth and even.
On the 2013 I had, I replaced the brakes with Akebono and Brembo hardware around 70,000 miles (112,000 km). Before I sold it at 90,000 miles (144,000 km), I inspected the brakes again and they looked like they were wearing evenly and normal. Keep in mind I do city driving in Los Angeles with heavy traffic.
