I’m looking online for glk MB front brakes and rotors. My dealer wants 820$ for a front brake job, (coffee and donuts included) I need to do it for less, that coffee is to expensive. Any info on good parts stores would be appreciated.
MB brakes are not special. I recommend Akebono ceramic pads and pick your favorite brand of premium or daily driver rotors. They will last much longer than genuine MB parts.
I know mb brakes are not special, but I’m confused, I know they wear fast and the rotors don’t last and warp. But isn’t this possibly to increase braking? Harder longer lasting compounds probably don’t stop as well. It’s not a simple decision.

I notice no difference with my akebono setup on a much heavier vehicle ; actually when I changed the parts the new pads performed si much better than oem.
I concur with the advice about akebono and recommend brembo ceramic as well.
Pagid is the oe supplier to mb for glk pads.
I'm a big fan of the ebc usr rotors. They look nice and performe extremely well. But they're expensive.
I hear great things abiut the r1 concepts drilled and slotted geomet rotors. Inexpensive too!

I ran them for a few months anyway, trying to like them because they created so much less dust, but in the end decided that stopping distance takes precedence over looks, and switched back to OEM semi-metallics. It is very odd that you lost braking capacity or suffered longer stopping distance. I have over 10k miles on the Akebonos now and there is no degradation in capacity or stopping distance. The Akebonos do not grab as hard, as fast as the stock pads, but with a little bit more pedal pressure they perform the same and stop the car in the same distance. Perhaps there is something else going on with your car.
IDParts is one of the many trusted vendors from another car forum I frequent; they stock GLK brakes among other service kits. Probably the best prices for OEM brake parts.
As far as I know, GLK350 brakes are the same as the GLK250, so these should fit just fine.
For GLK250 owners like myself, they also stock oils, filters, transmission service kits, etc. Give them a look and compare prices.

All I know is I had a couple of extremely close calls in the last couple of years, and I am pretty certain that I would have walloped the bicyclist or the other car in these cases had I still had the Akebonos. The car stops on a dime with the OEM pads, so nothing wrong with the car.
I recently replaced the fronts on both of our GLKs with Brembo high carbon rotors and Akebono Euro pads. Great initial bite and easy to modulate in my opinion. As an additional benefit, both Brembo and Akebono say their products do not need bedding in. So after a few stops to wear off the surface coatings you will experience better braking.
A few months ago, the wife tapped a guy who slammed on his brakes at a green light. She told me that she thought her car should have stopped in time to avoid the other car. After I replaced her front brakes, she had another panic stop and said the car seemed to stop quicker.
And the biggest benefit of all - no more black dust. This is my wheel after 300 miles of city driving.
