2011 GLK350 Battery Replacement Questions
Hi.
Looking for some advice. I have just purchased a 2011 GLK350 with 66K km on it. Done the brakes, tires, checked fluids etc.
Last thing on my list was to see how old the battery was. I couldn't believe it when I saw the date code was 10. Vehicle was built 10/10 so this must be the original battery.
I was thinking of letting it go for another year but think it best to change it now as I don't want any issues in the winter. I have read the battery change posts and watched the videos.
My understanding is that disconnecting the battery may result in me needing to do something with the sunroof, power windows, etc. I need to find what may need to be done and how to do it.
Also, is it possible to connect a battery to the jump start points to provide power so I don't have to reset anything?
Thanks,
Ken.
