Serpentine belt & tensioner
Need to replace belt & tensioner on my 2011 GLK350.
Dealer wants $300+ for the tensioner; I see them all over eBay for under $30. Both have a one year warranty.
Is this a “You get what you pay for” situation or a “The dealer is nuts” one?
Thanks!

I’d steer clear of fleabay for important parts, especially moving parts. Stick to OEM and you’ll be happier.
Places like pelican parts, german auto parts, and many other sites will stock quality options from reputable brands.

This seems to be pretty common wear item... I purchased these parts from FCP Euro. while you are in there replace the idler rollers, all very simple to do, you'll be done in no time
