HELP--RADIO/AUDIO ISSUE (i've searched through these threads)

Aloha!

Have been dealing with an issue with my 2010 GLK350. The audio/COMMAND unit intermittently stops working. Brought it to a Mercedes Benz dealer and they first told me that they couldn't get it to act up and have now said that I need a new radio and display. Before I agree to this with the dealer, want to make sure this seems valid as to me--doesn't make sense why both of these would need to be replaced. (BTW searched many threads on here and on the internet, but none are what's going on with my GLK--apologize if this seems redundant of others)

Symptoms:
- Audio/NAV/COMMAND system works fine if the vehicle sits for a while and then the vehicle is started
- If the vehicle is driven and then turned off (say going grocery shopping) and then return back to car without letting it sit, it sometimes does not have any audio/sound. Everything works 99% of the time. (There was two times within the last month that when I put the vehicle in reverse, the screen didn't even work.)

What the dealer did:
- Said they did a full reset (don't know how that's possible when all of my radio stations and data were all still in the vehicle when I picked it up)
- Said they swapped another Amp unit into the car to see if it would solve the issue. Said that wasn't the case, but still told me they haven't gotten the audio issue to act up while they are checking it out

Any suggestions on what to do? I was going to pull the fuses later this morning and do a soft reset myself.

Thanks in advance!!
