Hello All,
I'm new to this page and was wondering if I could get some guidance on what to do!!! I have a 2010 GLK 350 and my radio works sometimes. Some mornings when I get in and start the vehicle the radio plays fine. As soon as I have to get out and cut the engine off and re enter the vehicle it only makes a popping sound from the speakers or no sound at all. The display shows radio stations and when I click it on CD it shows to be playing the cd. Has this happened to anyone else? If so please let me know how you fixed it. The dealer wants $2000.00......I can't afford that. Be nice when replying, PLEASE AND THANK YOU.

Welcome hopefully someone here might be able to help. Did you try going to a car audio shop rather than the dealer

Hi dbldpr,
I went to one. The guy there told me it MAY be the amp but that I would have to purchase from dealer. He didn't seem to want to really help me. So I just thanked him and left.

After 3 weeks of dropping my radio off at the radio shop, I went on EBAY, as suggested and purchased a radio on July 17, it arrived on July 24 took it to the shop July 25 for installation only to be told it did not work at all!!! I emailed the dealer later that day. Returned the radio July 27 for a full refund. The guy at the radio shop told me that the main board on my radio was bad and the output was bad. I was hurt so I just asked him to put my radio back in. About 3 or 4 days later I powered the radio on and it played!!!!! I was HOPING it would continue to work but it did not. It may have came on and played twice since the guy put it back in. I have no clue what the heck is going on. If the main board is bad and the output is bad how is able to work sometimes? Does it do that until it just finally goes out?
