Cant clear the MAF code

Hi All,

So I have changed the both intercooler hoses, drivers side was split open, passenger was okay but replaced anyways.

Replaced Mass Air Flow as well, even though the original was still operating optimally .

Keep clearing the codes and this one keeps coming back:

What else can I diagnose or inspect?

Regards

I'd put the old Mass Air flow sensor back in. If it worked before, there isn't any reason for replacing it. It's just a hot wire detector. Sometimes they build up dirt on the body that needs a quick cleaning, but there isn't much to go wrong there. New parts should be tested, but maybe it was built on Monday when inspection was hung over.

There are two more sensors in the air path before cylinders. One MAP on the manifold and one in the air filter box. They are different sensor and not interchangeable. The one on the air filter box has green lettering. Also check if the intercool is leaking or clogged. The pressure on the manifold should be high on live scan and is prone to get clogged by the oil (can be cleaned).

Hey Thank you for the reply guys,

I do a full system all module scan and live scans as well. Looks like everything is within specs. I will look for those sensors and do ohm testing on them.

with a 3 year old crack in my intercooler hose (as noted by a longer term oil on the hose, no permanent codes until it split over an inch. Still the pressures look normal on the live scan. Any clog as in the intercooler or leak from the intercooler may also give the code. I cleaned the MAP sensor and the code disappeared for a year even with the cracked hose.

anyone use the intercooler as an oil separator? Have a drain tube in it and drain yearly?

Right intercooler hose had 2 cracks in it. I changed the right intercooler hose and checked other left hose. Ran great for 5 miles then lost power, check engine light. Car turned off and ran okay for 4 miles with P0101 codes. Then lost power and stays with the lost power. Codes are P0171 System too Lean and P0101 MAF circuit A.
I should have just left the cracked hose in place -- strong.

One video had that this turbo tube was disconnected and gave P0101 and P0171 codes. Disconnected turbo should run rich.
The FRP is 5000 psi at idle and 10,000 to 12,000 psi at 2500 rpm. Are these pressures too low?
