Sport Mode (Exhaust
When I turn on sport mode, does it make the exhaust louder on the 2011 GLK? Besides gear changes, what else does sport mode do? And is it noticeable?

All sport mode does is higher gear shifts (nothing drastic either), No other fun stuff occurs, no remapping of fuel curve either.

In the 13 and maybe 11 it stiffens the suspension a bit,

My 2011 GLK 4MATIC does nothing more than change the shift points. This, in turn, can make the exhaust sound louder, but only due to the higher revs in each gear.

Sport mode also sharpens up throttle response, in addition to the higher gear shift RPMs and holding onto 6th gear for awhile longer than necessary IMO.
