Need help replacing LED DRL on AMG-style bumper

It seems like all the instructions I can find online are either for replacing the bulb in the round "fog light" style, or are for C-class which have exterior screws.

Unfortunately my truck has the "AMG style" bumper with the pre-facelift LED daytime running lights and despite removing the fender liners for access, the three nuts on the back, and the silver trim on the front, I just can't figure out how to get the actual lamp out.

From what I could sus out, the lamp is wedged between the waffle & silver trim on the front, the lamp in the middle, and a bracket on the back. The back of the lamp has 3 threaded screws which go through the bracket and are secured on the back by nuts. It's clear I need to do something with the tabs on the bracket but I'm pretty sure I broke one already but it's unclear how to remove the bracket from the tabs where it attaches to the bumper at the top and bottom.

Can anyone help with some instructions, close up photos, or video?

This is the style of DRL that I have

This is what it looks like from the back, inside the bumper. I removed the silver trim from the front so you can see a bit of daylight coming in between the bracket that holds the lamp and the lamp

Here's an example of one of the tabs that I don't know how to release without breaking

And here's the tab I broke

There are also two tabs on the top but one (not pictured) is hidden behind that gray piece of plastic. Even if I knew how to release these tabs they're darned hard to get to

This is what the backside of the lamp looks like on it's own. In addition to the three threaded screws, there are also two cross tab that stick into the the bracket

Just for reference, here is a basic idea of the bracket holding the lamp in place looks like
