08 GLK 320 CDI rear entertainment/DVD player problems
Hello, I have an 08 GLK 320 CDI. It has the whole rear entertainment package with it.. the dual headrest DVD players & DVD player under the passenger side middle row. Recently, it's having an issue with reading DVDs. It keeps giving us an error of the disk is unreadable or incorrect format. We've already ran a disk cleaner through it, worked for one DVD run and then back to not working. Dealer doesn't know what the problem could be so they said just replace it all but that's a good $3500-$4500 to do. Has anyone has this happen and know how to fix it?

Welcome! And sorry for your troubles. Unfortunately, I don't think you'll find many GLKs in the USA equipped with such a system. In addition, we never got the 320CDI, only the 250Bluetec.
Be that as it may, you're likely to find more help in the GL subforums, as I think those models were more likely to be optioned out with the rear DVD systems. I could also be wrong...

It must be a European spec. GLK. Is the vehicle in the U.S. now or are you overseas with the vehicle?
