Replacement Vredestein Space Master Tire
My 2012 GLK350 spare has a DOT of 3711 and would be 10 years old by Sept 2021. Has anyone sourced the tire in the US. I am unable to find anything on the internet. The dealer sells the wheel and tire together. The spare is a Vredestein Space Master 185/75-17.
If your looking for a new tire because it “expired” I wouldn’t bother, it hasn’t been aged by weather or sun, it’s really like new in the semi sealed trunk. I think mb recommends 6 years for the tires which I agree, In the past I’ve had tires with good tread go hard and slip at 4 years.

I agree with Mmr1. I used my spare last summer and the rubber felt soft and pliable. It is over 10 years old. I just wish my wife's BMW had such an ingenious spare tire in the trunk.
