My roof antenna is broken!
Does anyone know where can I find a roof Antenna for my 2015 GLK 220? I can’t find it anywhere….. .
I’m going to take it to the dealership for them to replace it, but they refuse to give me the part number so I can look for it online…..
I could buy the antenna directly from them, but where I live it is extremely overpriced.
I can’t get to know the part number without lowering my headliner, and I only trust the dealership to do so, cause I don’t want to be left with squeaks and rattles.
After doing a lot of research, I learned that there are 3 different types of antenna for the GLK, All I know about mine, is that unlike all those that I found for sale, it has only one cable,( I was able to sneak my phone between the roof and the headliner just far enough to record it. All the antennas I have found for sale have 2 or 3 cables.
However, I found an identical antenna to mine, it has only one cable, but it has been removed from a c180, I’m wondering if that would work.
If anyone can help me out on this, I would really appreciate it, thanks in advance.
This is my antenna seen from underneath the roof:

Now I just need to buy it, Does anyone know if only Mercedes can unplug the antenna?
I heard from someone that if it is not done by Mercedes, the multimedia screen will get blocked and register an error code ( they said it happened to their bmw when they replaced their antenna) and then I will have to take it to the dealership anyway to get that code erased.
As of right now, I’m going to take it to the dealership, because as I said, I only trust the dealership to lower my headliner since I dont want to be left with squeaks and rattles, but if I find some trustworthy repair shop, I might take it there, because unfortunately the nearest MB dealership is 400 km away from me.

The problem is that my Antenna is broken…. It is a little loose, but the top is broken…. It still works at least…. I “sculpted” the missing part with epoxi clay, it protects the internals of the antenna and it looks ok from a distance, but looking closely it is really ugly, so I need a new antenna regardless….. Since it became a little loose I glued it in place with silicone for no water to get in.
