2011 GLK350 Oil Smell and Dipstick Issue

Well managed to get the PCV and plugs replaced last night. Wasn't as simple and straightforward as the FCP Euro video showed... Mainly as I was not prepared to remove the E-star bolts. Luckily I did have an E-star socket (albeit 3/8 drive) which ultimately saved the night for sure! Replaced the factory E-star bolts with the Torx bolts included with the kit. So far no leaks detected. Still some oil smell but that's expected given the amount of oil I had been leaking down the engine and on the exhaust. Again, thanks to the OP and conversations on this thread.
Update: after several in town trips over the past few days I can say with certainty the leak is gone!
