Wiper blade recommendations for the best streak free, glass hugging wipe?
Have had my 2015 GLk250 for a couple years now and don’t think I’ve ever had a good set of wipers on there. Wondering if there’s a go-to recommendation for wiper brand and model on here?

Wipers might only last 6months. Do you park outside, if so your window glass and wipers need a lot of maintenance. Have you cleaned your wiper blades, try alcohol. Your glass is probably full of contaminants and you can’t see it. I stopped using the automatic car wash places ( since they ruin paint) but I remember they always messed up my glass with a wax or polymer.
First clean the glass with something stronger than windex. Then I use Zud (a kitchen cleanser) because it contains Oxalic acid and really cleans glass , I think regular kitchen cleanser like Comet will do good, then use a razor blade to go over it. Even a buffer and polishing compound should work.
For wipers you could just go to the auto store and get their best / most expensive wiper, I think I use Michelin and they cost like 60$ . Or also go on YouTube and look up wiper blade reviews. There are big differences, I’m guessing the newer silicone blades should last the longest.

“Project Farm” on YouTube did a good wiper blade review a year ago, I’m sure there are other good reviews on YouTube. But first you need real clean glass. Only after all of that work, if it still didn’t clean properly, then I would think the springs are weak, but my 13 is fine.

I believe Valeo is or was the OEM. That's what I bought and they're great. It's been 2 years now and still working great, which is very surprising with the amount of salt and sand they deal with here in the winter.

Just be aware that when ordering wipers, there are 2 styles available depending on whether yours is an "early" or "late" GLK.
I believe the divider is before and up to Jan 2014 builds are "early" while builds after Jan 2014 are "late." (May be wrong on the actual month, not sure)

The early style is up through Jan 31, 2014, chassis 301228, plus numbers 301334, 301498, 301851 and 333528.
