Signing Off!
Bittersweet day today. We sold our beloved GLK (see pic for final mileage). Runs like a charm, and has done since new with the notable exception of emissions issues resolved by the program reset at the dealer. We love this vehicle, have pampered it, and got a good price ($19K) in a private sale to a family that lives 10 miles away. To that amount, I suppose, should be added the $3515 check we received as part of the diesel class action.
We sold only because we are getting a Volvo V60 Cross Country by Overseas Delivery. Mercedes and BMW have reduced the value of their OSD programs, but Volvo's is tremendous. This may be our last new car (we are now senior citizens) and we're combining the purchase with bucket list trip to the fjords of Norway and the archipelago of Sweden. We're sad to be leaving the diesel fold and the Mercedes fold, and wish nothing but the best to all MBWorld members.

That's not a bad selling price, well done!
No one can fault you for selling an older car for a brand new one, especially with the planned adventure you'll be enjoying. I hear those Volvos are extremely comfortable.
Happy motoring, even if not dieseling. And stay safe!
