Anyone Retrofit the Ambient Light Package (317)
My 2014 GLK 350 is missing all the 317 goodness and I'm wondering if it can be retro'd and if anyone has the part numbers.
The points of interest are:
- Puddle lights
- Interior ambient under trim lighting
I pulled one of the burl trim panels off and I can see the clear tube is there but no lighting element or place to plug it in that I can see. I can swap for a LED strip, but I would rather go with what was intended to be there.
For the puddle lights, not sure if there is a light connection in the mirror ready to roll or if they did not even bother to wire it. I know their are LED puddle lights on AliX but I would rather ask for the collective for intel before I pull the mirror apart.
