2012 GLK 350 gas
2012 GLK 350 won't read obd

Picked up a non-running GLK 350 was in a small front end accident couple airbags blew no big deal I fix damage so not worried about that. However I replaced the Pyro fuse, and AGM battery and it still says srs malfunction and won't start. I try to hook up my code reader and it won't turn on, try 3 code readers none get power from obd port. checked fuse and its good, swapped it anyway and still nothing. Also stereo, screen, rear hatch and several other electronics inside the car are not working. What should I look for? Also is there an auxilary battery in this car? tore out the back and didn't find one there (this is the gasser model). Need help figuring out why the obd port isn't functioning. thanks

2014 GLK350 base model (active) ; 2001 E320 base (retired)
I'm no expert on all the model years and what features they have, but our 2014 GLK350 Base model has an Aux battery.
Ours is in the back, on the right hand side under cover.

Post #1 at the link below shows how to expose the battery, if so equipped

i checked there and no battery in the back is there other fuses that would cause all those systems to not work?

There are more fuses in the back. Try taking a look at those!! Also maybe a ground cable that became loose due to accident.

You replaced the pyro fuse, so you know where the pre-fuse box is located. Check all the fuses in the pre-fuse box. There may be one or more of them blown. They supply power to both SAMs, fuel pumps, ECU, etc. The car is waking up if you see the SRS warning and you will need to clear that after you can use the OBDII connector. The quiescent current relay (the rectangular thing) is also in that box, and if it doesn’t reset, the interior will not turn on, but it’s not between the battery and the OBDII power.

Good luck. There’s no such thing as a minor collision on a Mercedes.
