Little back story.... This was our son's first car that he bought himself about 3 years ago. When he went off to the Airforce, we helped him get a new MB since he would be so far from home. Now I need to sell his old car.
This thing is super clean, v6, runs excellent. Has a stainless steel trim package which I am not sure if it's a factory option or aftermarket.
With the car market being so crazy I'm not sure what is reasonable anymore. I was thinking 16k but who knows. I do feel like the GLK is probably a higher demand older vehicle, especially nice ones.

A lot depends on where you're selling it (the values can go up or down a lot depending on the area). What I will usually do is to just scan Craigslist in the area (expanding it by a couple hundred or more miles, depending on how close you are to a large metro area) and see what people are asking (ASK being the operative term) for similar vehicles. That's only a thumbnail, as some of the "clean cars" listed really aren't, and some folks are just clearly asking for a whole lot more than they're ever going to get.
Just as an example, here's an ad - from a dealer - for what seems to be a pretty comparable car (though here in Arizona, the white is MUCH more in demand than the "EZ bake oven black"). ;-) $13K asking price... pretty close to what I'd estimate, though I didn't do any kind of forensic analysis of the car.

I'd say the closest comparison would be this recent post. (see below)
A big difference is the below GLK has only 25k US miles. It's also well maintained with records by MB. Also, it's in Arizona, where the weather influence on vehicles in minimal (like here in South Texas). And love the color - to me, somewhat rare. Appears to still be listed.
You didn't mention any of those key points.
And sorry, I would NEVER use Craigslist for a price comparison. (not an opinion to the OP)
