BSM Side Mirror Light
Hello. Does anyone know if the bulbs inside the side mirror that indicate the operation of the BSM (Blind Spot Monitor) replaceable? The yellow bulb in the passenger side mirror stopped work. The red one works perfectly fine. The lights on the driver side mirror both work ok. I want to confirm that my BSM works fine. I had no errors on my dash. The yellow bulb flickered for a while on the passenger side and now its completely dead.

Unfortunately, you'll likely need a new mirror for that side. They should be around $120 or so, they pop right out with some plastic trim removal tools. Here's one from one of my favorite online sources: mirror.
Weird that only the amber light went out though. They only stay amber under 20mph, indicating that the BSM is not working. Once you go faster, the amber light goes out and BSM activates, but will only light up red when it detects something in your blind spot. So while the amber light is out, the functionality of the BSM itself is not affected. It would be up to you whether you want to swap out for a new mirror. If you're OCD like me, you'll swap it
