I use the Launch Creader Elite with the European package (BBA). It works great, and allows a lot of individual component testing, along with custom programming.

I have used Carly which is inexpensive and supports older and new Mercedes. The product is well supported and is updated frequently.

I have a W204 and currently have the Foxwell NT530 and so far it seems to be able to do everything I wanted. Reads/erases codes, functions tests, reads all available sensors in the car. Has lifetime free software updates, only thing is its not wifi so i have to remove the sd card and use my PC to do the updates. Only thing I dont like is its not touch screen and the screen is small. The touchscreen version is the NT710.

If I needed to get a new scanner I would go with one of the Launch scanners because they are touch screen and cheaper than the NT710's im coming across. From what I see online the Foxwell and the Launch basically can do the same things.
