Please help me~I feel like scammed by local mb dealership.
So, you're in Canada which has far more diluted consumer protection laws than the litigious US of A.
I'll assume 4% of MSRP is @ $4,500.00 CAD.
You have a binding enforceable agreement in writing with the dealer. Taking it to court would not be cost effective unless there is a provision by which you can be awarded legal fees if you prevail (quite possible).
An alternative may be a formal complaint to whichever government agency regulates dealers in Canada. In the U.S. the Dept. of Motor Vehicles is that agency on the state level. Although a complaint with such an agency might likely ultimately be dismissed as beyond the scope of their regulation (you'd get an official answer like "this is a civil matter which can be taken up elsewhere"). However, the dealer is duty bound to respond to the complaint which time and expense may just sway them to honor the 4% contract. The key is you have to show them the tube of toothpaste, tell them 2-3 times to various levels within the dealer organization that you're going to squeeze the toothpaste and then finally squeeze the toothpaste out. In other words show them what's coming and give them ample time to react. Big dealership chains are quite literally corporations. They can take 3 hours to watch 60 minutes...
