looking at 2017 GLS450
I have an opportunity to buy a GLS450 Manager special for 72K, with 8k mikes on it. ( this was a reps car ) it's MSRP lists for 84k. it has a good amount of options!!
I am a BIG BMW guy and this would be my first MB. Am i making a good decision!!?!? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It appears it would be right in line with what others are selling for. Personally, I would never buy a GL(S)450...as I would only opt for the mighty 550, especially in a luxurious beast like this. Seems like the 450 is cutting myself short. But that is your personal choice.
If it truly has all the options/features, then I would go for it.

It's called Brass Hat
"Brass Hat" are MB that operated under manufacturer plates - which can be MB Executive Lease Cars - Mercedes Show/Demo cars - or in certain cases Engineering or Test/Factory-Course cars.
1. Always get CarFax and VMI
2. Brass Hat MB's are discounted to the dealer at normally 10.5% below normal dealer cost - dealer does not get added dealer "holdback".
3. They make GREAT lease cars as Mercedes Financial will lease on new car terms
4. Warranty started day #1 when put into service under factory plates - so you have blance of the 4yr/50K mile new car warranty - which "should" cover warranty during a 36mo lease term - but ALWAYS check VMI for original in-service date to confirm
5. Can be sold as Mercedes Certified - if dealer is willing to add CPO warranty - if purchasing Certified - also check best Certified pre-Owned finance rates versus purchasing as "new" since pre-owned finance rates can be higher in most cases than finance rates as new car.

It has the 799 paint, which is amazing...but it doesn't have Distronic + or real leather seats (which, IMO, is disappointing to be missing in a car of this caliber). If you can live with those options missing---and like it the way it, then go for it.
