Special Order Options
We started an order for a new GLS 550 and have uncovered the ability to add "Special Order Items"
The things I have added are:
I found the above items by searching new inventories and discovered them on built vehicles.
Thanks a bunch.

- Code 892 - Lockable Rear Compartment
- Code U09 - MB-Tex Wrapped Lower Dashboard
- Code 293 - Rear Side Airbags
- Code 58U - Crystal Grey Headliner
- Code P21 - Air Ionization with Air Filter

2017 GLS 550 & 2016 SLK300
Those are only listed in dealer system I believe. On our GLS550 we have all but the lower wrapped dashboard as it included with the designo interior and headliner as it’s white fuzzy material without choice to change.

Well....
!st - headliner color choice is exactly that - color headliner choices (two) for whichever interior you select - it is a required choice in the build menu in Netstar.
SBC options - yes - there is a single $250 charge to add one (or all) of the SBC options - that added charge does not show on the build but will show on the final factory invoice/window sticket.
U09 - luxury wrapped MB-Tex dash and door panels can be factory availability limited
Air Ionization is NOT fragrance it is added ionization "fliter" in the system
Competent salesperson can go thru the full build list for you to confirm compatibility
Rear side airbags are NOT recommended for car seats or small children in the 2nd row seat - teens and adults up are OK - not switchable off

There's also the 'U29' 'big brake' code, but i've never been able to determine how you would acquire it, since it's not part of any package nor listed as an orderable option over here.
