GLS 550 dances on Ice!
First drive on an inch of glare ice! Just wanted to share how totally adroit the 550 is on slippery mode with Pirelli scorpions winter. The slippery mode is superbly effective on the worst that mother nature can dish out, it completely tames the torque monster so you can tackle glare ice without a hint of slippage or sloppiness even on hills! I wonder if the mode also changes the ABS system calibration since contrary to comfort mode there is almost zero ABS activation on braking regardless of how slick the surface is. I know that the mode changes the throttle and transmission mapping, which is quite obvious since you need a lot more throttle input to accelerate, but that's all I know. Does anyone have any more info on it?
