PrePaid Maintenance Discounts?
Has anyone been able to get a discount on the prepaid maintenance packs? Dealer priced out a 3 pack for $1500 and wondering how much room there is if I shop around. I recall getting a fantastic discount on the extended warranty but don't recall how much (if any) margin is on the prepaid maintenance since most of it goes back to MBUSA.
We are up for the 40k service later this spring and had my service rep run out the 40/50/60k service costs which totaled ~$2400 so at $1500 its still a deal just wanted to check with the forum before buying.
As FYI...sales manager quoted for a 2015 GL550 with 36k on the odometer

In my experience there is a lot of wiggle room in extended warranty pricing but none in prepaid service pricing. Whatever MBUSA shows on its site for pre paid maintenance for your vehicle is what dealers will charge (some will mark up from that price).
For GLS550 MBUSA site lists $1500 for a 3 pack, so that's what you should pay.
