Annoying loud exhaust noise on high way
hi everyone .
Just got new GLS 2018 . First drive From NYC to Ohio and back perfect except. The exhaust in the rear is very annoyingly loud, when driving with/without cruse control. This noise happens only when vehicles lightly excel. For example (while driving at say 60 mph and you lightly press on the gas pedal to keeping up with traffic) then you hear the loud noise . However Hard excel is fine . Example taking off and speeding up hard on the pedal.
Anyone experienced this issue?

Hi Isawelvis, thanks for your response . I have the 2018 GLS 450 V6 turbo with the appearance package . Note I had the GL450 2014 V8 before this new GLS 2018 and was perfect with no noise . Reason for questioning this new found noise . Thanks.

The V6's do have some strange exhaust harmonics compared to the V8, but it shouldn't be that noticeable. Take it to the dealer, if nothing else compare it to another identical GLS and see if it's normal.
