Fuse question for those who have installed a dashcam
Hello friends! For anyone who has installed a dashcam in their GL/GLS:
I will be installing a Blackvue with Power Magic Pro.
I am planning to grab switched power from the 2nd row fuse box - glove compartment (F135) or cigarette lighter (F148) and run a wire into the passenger dash fuse box.
What is the best fuse to grab constant 12V power?
Should I grab it from one of the fuses from the 2nd row fuse box (which one?), or can use a fuse tap at one of the passenger dash fuses?
I am a bit nervous as I have heard that MB electronics get finicky.
Thanks!!

Thanks for the link @chsu74!
From that thread and others, it looks like members have used the following fuses:
Switched ACC power fuses:
F135 (5A: glove compartment)
F138 (15A: active roll stabilization)
F148 (15A: cigarette lighter)
Constant +12V fuses:
F15 (5A: airbag/hazard warning flasher/off-road package/PARKTRONIC/residual engine-heat utilization/seat heating front/seat vent front/start-stop system)
F130 (25A: trailer hitch)
For F130, 25A seems a lot of current to go thru an Add-a-Circuit fuse tap...then again I don't ever plan to use a powered trailer hitch...
I would love to be able to grab constant 12V+ power from the dash fuse box (fuses 10-22) as it makes things much easier.
F15 appears to protect quite a few systems (including airbags) so I say nope on that one.
Wondering if anyone has safely used any of the others in that dash fuse box:
F10 (7.5A: Ignition Lock)
F11 (10A: driving assistance package, lane tracking, heated steering wheel)
F12 (5A: instrument cluster)
F13 (15A: rear pass compartment blower)
F14 (5A: diagnostic socket)
F19 (15A: A/C module)
F20 (5A: engine electronics
F21 (5A: central display)

MBWorld Fanatic!
What's like the best dash cam there is that shows front/rear, etc, and lets you login remotely to view live feed? I know there are multiple, but want to see what people have actually used.
