2020 GLS450 remote start

2020 GLS450 remote start
Hey guys, I just received my 2020 gls450, and was testing out the remote start and noticed the car would shut itself off when I would go up to the door and unlock it. Anyone know if there is any setting I have to change in order to stop this from happening?

Nope....
I went that route with my 18 GLS.. MB is the only car manufacturer that does that.. What they needed to do is code the config to check to see if the key fob is present and not shut the car off... I agree the car has to be locked and windows closed to start.. Makes sense.. But if its me with the key fob, they should NOT have coded the car to shut down... 80-100K car and a toyota and honda has a better system...
