2017 GLS550 tow 3750 lbs trailer need sway control?
Hi folks,
First time going to tow a travel trailer with our 2017 GLS 550. I know it has enough power to tow a Jayco Baja 174bh which has a GVWR of 3,750 lbs. My question is, renter of trailer says they will provide the hitch but the hitch doesn't have sway control as it's is a LIGHT trailer and it won't sway.
My question is for those who have the GLS550 and tow, in your experience, do I need to get a tow hitch WITH anti-sway for THIS trailer? or trust that I'll be fine by using what is provided by the folks I'm renting the trailer from with a hitch with no anti-sway? Specs of the trailer I'll be renting to tow is here:
https://www.jayco.com/tools/archive/...-7-west/174bh/
I was looking at the Recurve R6 to potentially keep so I can plug and play to any trailer I will rent in the future.
Your opinions appreciated!
