3rd Row Seat Fold/Raise Fault
Out of the blue the passenger side (that’s left side as we Brits have RHD) 3rd row seat isn’t folding. When I press the button in the trunk I hear a few clicks and a grinding noise but that’s it.
Before I knows about the manual release, I pressed the button and pushed the seat down manually. The same to raise it manually and it locks into place with both methods, but the button isn’t doing it’s job.
Any experiences of this gremlin?
Is it a faulty motor or a slipping shaft? It sounds like something is turning as well as grinding but that’s it.

Sorry, but I haven't seen this one on our GLS. I do know that I broke a rear seat cable on the third row Toyota Sienna we had (Kids left something in the footwell). Good Luck.
