2017 GLS550 Active Curve Pump Leak
My 2017 GLS550 is in for service at the dealer. They mentioned they are seeing a leak in the sway bar pump, which I believe in my car is the Active Curve Pump (my car has the ACS option). My car had the reservoir cap recall performed back in 2018 so it's not related to that. But wow, the repair is expensive! Roughly $800 labor, $1400 in parts. Anyone else deal with this yet?
Search only showed one other post referencing this issue buried in another thread -- where the comment was that pump leaks with ACS happen from time to time. Not sure I'd be happy with paying this amount from time to time.

My 2013 ML550 had 170k miles - I had two issues with Active Curve. One was replacement of the front valve block (it was causing a clunk while moving) and the other was a leak in a hydraulic line.
The valve block was around $2.2k at the dealer. The hydraulic line was around $900 at the dealer. I replaced the air suspension in the rear at 150k mi with Bilstein dampers / bags at $3k with an Indy mechanic. I could not use Arnott struts because they did not support ADS. So it was either OE or Bilstein. Both front air struts would be around $3k as well.
Maintaining the suspension isn’t cheap - but I thought it was worth the excellent ride characteristics over the amount of miles I drove.

I know this is an old post but did you get this resolved? Did you have to replace the pump? I was just told my pump is leaking. Hoping maybe it's just the reservoir cap but mine was not recalled back in 2018.
