After changing my gls450's engine, the left headlight was leaking. After the dealer checked, it was broken inside, outside is no problem. The dealer said this problem is caused by me even no any damage outside and I should pay for this headlight. But I think if this kind of inside damage there should be found some scratches outside. I assume this headlight would be damaged during the time they changed the engine. who is right? thanks.
I was told that this upside damage is caused by an accident outside of the headlight but from the inside. the above pics I just take when I pick up the car by myself. Then did not send me these pictures. I do not know if you all think that is possible made by myself no problem. I just want to know the reason.

I just pick up my car back, my bumper was damaged but nobody tell me. It is lucky that I find it right now. They only agree to refinish it, need I request to replace a new one?
I bought this CPO gls 2018, end of July 2021,at Boston, and the engine dead( no accident at all) on Oct 10 2021, and waiting for repair. I picked it up on Dec. 31, 2021. and in this new year repaired twice about 2 weeks.

Tell the dealer that neither the bumper nor the headlight were damaged when you dropped the car off for the engine work, and that both things happened before you picked it back up.
I recall one of the local Boston TV stations does a segment where they help a consumer with a dispute. (Hank Phillipi Ryan?)
Did they ever give you an explanation as to why the engine failed coming down Mt. Washington? I've made that trip probably a dozen times in a dozen different vehicles and have yet to have a problem...
