2018 GLS550 Inoperative distance pilot, lane assist, et
Hoping for a little guidance! Last night someone ripped the front emblem plate off our 2018 GLS 550, and since then our car is throwing 4 errors: inoperative distance pilot, active brake assist functions limited, active blind spot assist inoperative, active lane keeping assist inoperative. We checked all the connections and the camera and they all are connected and seem absolutely fine. How do we fix these errors? Attached is an image of the front of the car , thank you!!
Major bummer! I believe in a GLS with the advanced driving features like autonomous driving (standard on the 550) the black area attached to the front emblem is a radar device, necessary for those features to work. I am not an expert but once replaced and re-programmed all your features will resume working.
