I just purchased Hengst air filters from FCP Euro (fcpeuro.com) for my 550. $45.98 for the two filters shipped ground. The filter change looks fairly straightforward 'except' for one hose clamp on the driver's side filter housing. I don't think all of the X166 models have the same filter housings though. It looks like it may be a re-useable clamp but I'm not sure as I haven't taken the time to start the filter change.
Do the engine air filters get changed with any of the pre-paid maintenance schedules? I can't find any mention of it.

I did K&Ns in my GLS550. There are videos out there. It is not as "easy" as you'd think.
You will need to remove a couple of vacuum hoses and you basically have to turn the assemblies over to access the filters.
Be careful with those intake hoses. It doesn't take much for them to start unraveling. I actually used some foil duct tape on the one that I damaged.
GLS450 looks easier
