2018 GLS450 M276 Bi-Turbo thermostat stuck open
Hi all,
I'm trying to replace the thermostat after I noticed the check engine light and the inability to hold operating temp after long drives. Looking at the engine it seems like I have to move the intercooler out of the way and possibly the serpentine belt if I want to access the 3 bolts holding the thermostat to the engine.
I wanted to ask if this is the right approach or if there is a simpler method before I started wrenching away. Seems like they packed everything super tight on this engine 😅
The car only has 56k miles. Im surprised the thermostat went out already 🤷♂️

Nevermind all, I found my answer after a bit more research. Here is a link to a thread that outlines the replacement for this engine
