rear spring bags, which aftermarket? gls550
Came outside yesterday and the car is all low on the rear. I get in, it starts and lifts right back up. Drove it fine. Did some quick googling, looks like the air springs are an easy replace, but amazon and rockauto all over the map on pricing. Is there a set of bags people like aftermarket that they have had success with or should I just go to dealer and get OEM?

I have the same issue in the rear, I did buy Corteco bags which are OEM without the benz logo. I do not have them in yet but will soon.
They are not the cheapest more more reasonable than paying the dealer the 800 bucks for them with their logo on it,

I didnt know Corteco were oe. I might have to try them out as well. I was going to buy Arnott bags but for 70$ more its not bad.

Well I replaced the rear air bags today. One side had oil leaking from the top which to me means the seal was leaking. It was pretty easy, did one side at a time so I did not have to raise the car from the differential. Had it done in an hour. Will monitor and see what happens the next few days.

I am replacing the two rear air bags today, the right one was starting to sag randomly even while driving which made the handling really poor. When I got the right one off, I wanted to see where it was leaking from, and it looks like it just developed a bunch of little pin hole leaks that the air compressor probably couldn't keep up with.

So did MB not do the stupid extra reservoir that requires you to drop the rear subframe like on the W211 chassis. sorry those were the last springs I had to replace. I just cut the resevoir hose and put in Arnotts
