favorite button with carlinkit 4.0
So as was mention in the Android Auto Thread. I bought a early 2017 that doesn't have Android Auto and I bought a Carlinkit 4.0 which converts apple car play to Android Auto. When I have the device plugged in the favorites button just takes me to the carplay/Android Auto screen, if I am already in Carplay/Android Auto it prings up the Android Apps tray. Does it do the same with native Android Auto or Carplay when it is active? When I unplug the device the favorites button brings up the normal menu. Starting to wonder if I should just go the Ebay OBD flash Android Auto. I would like to be able to pull up favorites to start seat massage on long trips without having to scroll through all the different menus. the prefacelift GLs had a seat button on the console I believe.

If you want to get to any of the normal command menu, you have to do it manually by using the “Vehicle” button on the radio. Then you can access the normal command screens/menus EXCEPT the favorites.
