2017 GLS550 121,000 miles

HI guys. Newbie here. Went for an oil change and asked them to change air filter as well. Got a call that the air intake "boots" have cracks in them. I was at work and could not look up the price but I was quoted $284 for each side. I pick up the car, and to my eye the air intake hoses were replaced and the parts say "air intake hose right" and "air intake hose left" (each for the quoted 284.
Looking around it looks like the air intake hoses should be $130 each not $284. Did I get ripped off or is there a difference between the "hose" and the "boot" ?
Part number on the hose corresponds to the "hose" for $130.

Does the $284 include labor?

Also, your question should be asked in the X166 forum since this is for MY20 and newer GLSs!

Dealer is always going to be a good deal more, especially if installed by their service department.

The other question I have is, 120K is a major service interval that requires Transmission/Diffential/Transfercase fluid change, air filters, as well as Spark plugs, and coils. Did you do a Full 120K mile service? If you want your Transmission/Diffential/Transfercase to live long lives with little issues, MB recommends every 30K miles for their fluids.

They are dirt cheap. 1Pair Right Left Air Intake Hose Duct For Mercedes Benz GL450 GL550 GLS550 ML550 | eBay I've used the ones on Ebay and they seem exactly the same as OE.
