Turn Signal Error Message
I replaced a damaged left rear turn signal with an aftermarket one off eBay. The fit and finish was great, but it gives a check left rear turn signal warning and fast flash. The auto shop I had check to see if they could adjust the computer said they would need to replace the turn signal with an OEM unit. When I asked about installing a load resistor, they said they do not do modifications like that.
My question is, has anyone else had this issue and will a 50w 6 ohm resistor resolve the problem. I think I'd just need to identify the correct wires on the plug to install.

I contacted the vendor and they recommended taking it the a shop and adjust the computer. I got it off eBay and it’s more than likely Chinese.
