Front Differential
Questions:
Without much further diagnosis, Is it worth changing the fluid to see if the issue resolves itself?
If I do the fluid change, what is the part number for the drain plugs?
Is the fluid change as simple as
Unscrewing the top plug
Unscrewing the bottom plug
Draining and refilling

It's an easy procedure.
Remove fill plug
Remove drain plug
Capture old fluid
Install new drain plug, p/n A1643310056, torque 35Nm
Fill new fluid using Motive tool or equivalent
Install new fill plug, p/n A1643310056, torque 35Nm

I did get the car into another shop this past week. I dropped it off at 8am and got a text that they needed me back at the shop at noon. When I came back, the owner/lead tech said he has never seen an issue like this. He said that my front and rear diff's were shot. He had me listen with his stethoscope so that I could hear the grinding. 2 remanufactured diff's with 4yr warranty is going to cost roughly $8500.
I have had the car in the garage trying to figure out next steps. I am half temped to try the replacement myself, but I can't seem to find any good tutorials.

Thankfully my shop/mechanic are also friends......the commenters about changing the fluid first? I agree with them 100%. It is a cheap and easy experiment.
the funny thing is, is that I have 0 leaks. From the exterior, everything looks good.
