2019 GLS 550 - Factory Rear Entertainment System - Won't Turn On?

2019 GLS 550 - Factory Rear Entertainment System - Won't Turn On?
Good evening!
Just took delivery of a 2019 GLS550. Had it shipped from out of state. It came with the factory rear entertainment system. The vehicle has a remote and 2 headphones however I can't get the screens to come on. The remote lights up (fresh batteries) but when alternating the switch from left screen and right screen, pressing the power button, the screens do not come on.
Am I stupid and doing something wrong? Is there a way to get them to come on through the main control system in the front? The remote it comes with does NOT look like the ones I see elsewhere on searches...however the spec sheet for the vehicle does confirm the RES did come optioned to the car originally.
Any help would be appreciated!
