Order discounts?

It's going to be very difficult to get any discount initially. Probably have to wait 6-12 months after release before any sizable discounts.

No official date has been given. They said Fall of 2019 so maybe sometime in the next 3 or 4 months. Although with the ramp up delays on the GLE, I suspect GLS deliveries may be delayed as well.
Personally I'm not putting much hope up for any significant discounts until spring/summer 2020 at the earliest. If they have the same ramp up issues as the GLE, then don't expect dealers to have much inventory to sell until Summer 2020 or later.

"Order banks" for 2020 gls450 have been open for a bit over 3 weeks - allocations/production quantities are very/very tight - GLS580 not open yet.
If you want a GLS this year - be bold - "discounts" slim-to-none for Fall/Winter this year..
